課程概述

This course focuses on the globalization paradigm and its effects on management of innovation. It is an interdisciplinary course, which analyzes the different managerial areas of strategy, organization, technology and market as integrated with the innovation process in a global context. 

課程目標
In this course the students will learn:

1. The underlying theories and models on innovation, organizational structure,
and market penetration in a global setting;
2. How the innovation process is affected by local, national and global
influences;
3. What cultural and organizational drivers are at work;
4. How to manage commercialization of new products on a life-cycle basis, in a diverse and ever-changing market.

After taking this course, students will be able to:
• Gain a strategic understanding of the knowledge economy and its role in the
global competition.
• Conduct a strategic analysis to innovate a product globally.
• Anticipate, adapt, and respond to global market needs to create innovative
products.
• Acquire knowledge to critically assess the strategic capabilities of an
organization to innovate globally.
